Financial Controller, Reporting to Group Finance Director

Our client is a leading privately owned diverse group of companies and in this exciting role you will be the finance lead of a £40 million multi-site business. Reporting ultimately to the Group FD and working closely with the local leadership and management team.
Your finance department is made up of 8+ and you will be instrumental in managing the day to day, month end and year end financial operation ensuring a fit for purpose and dynamic finance function.
Key activities will include
- Work closely with the leadership and management team across multiple business areas as a strategic advisor.
- Day to day leadership of finance function
- Develop strong reporting policies so that month end cycle in finance is efficient and seamless
- Provide meaningful financial analysis with commentary
The ideal person
- Qualified Senior Finance professional or Qualified by Experience and able to demonstrate working at FC level supporting an executive team
- Can demonstrate a strong sense of leadership within a finance department and excellent influencing skills across a wider business.
- Proven IT skills especially Excel and embraces technology to add value.
