If you are working at Accountant level and looking for the opportunity to progress, this role offers the mentorship and support to help you make that move.

Joining as Financial Controller, you will report directly to the CFO and become part of the day-to-day leadership team, with the opportunity to contribute to decisions across the business.

Main duties

• Prepare month-end financial reports and management accounts.
• Report on sales, margins, profitability, costs and other key performance indicators.
• Work closely with banking contacts and other external stakeholders.
• Analyse financial performance, challenge assumptions and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Manage working capital.
• Oversee transactional finance and the day-to-day running of the finance department.
• Develop financial controls and improve processes.

The ideal person

• A qualified accountant.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• The ability to support, mentor and develop a finance team.
• Proven analytical skills.
• Strong IT skills, including Excel and ERP systems.
