Salary c.£30K – £35K DOE

On behalf of our client a leading Engineering business, McKinty Associates are delighted to invite an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our clients’ finance team initially on an interim basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales/Purchase Ledger
• Invoice Queries
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly management accounts
• CIS Returns
• Vat Returns
• RCT
• Ad hoc duties as required by the Finance Director

Eligibility criteria:

• Recent experience in a fast-paced commercial accounting role
• Experience of preparing management accounts
• Competent experience using Xero / other relevant accounting programs
• Excellent Excel skills (vlookups, sumif, pivot tables etc)
• Ability to work effectively both alone and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Time management and organisation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
