Accounts Assistant / Accounts Administrator

Hillsborough (BT26)

Salary c.£25K – £28K DOE

On behalf of our client a growing wholesale and distribution business, McKinty Associates are delighted to invite an experienced Accounts Assistant / Accounts Administrator to join our clients’ finance team.

We are happy to consider both Part-time or Full-time applications for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Sales/Purchase Ledger
  • Credit control
  • Vat Returns
  • Stock
  • Ad hoc duties as required by the MD

Eligibility criteria:

  • Recent experience in a fast-paced commercial accounting role
  • Previous experience in FMCG (desirable not essential)
  • Competent experience using Sage 200 / other relevant accounting programs
  • Excellent Excel skills (vlookups, sumif, pivot tables etc)
  • Ability to work effectively both alone and in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Time management and organisation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
