This exciting opportunity will give outstanding tax professionals the opportunity to work with some of the largest international client engagement in a tax accounting and direct tax areas.  You will be the primary point of contact for a varied portfolio of clients within the direct tax team.


Some examples of work will include direct tax and tax accounting accounts (US GAAP or IFRS).  You will be leading clients on established accounts, seeking process improvement opportunity in processes and implementing services for new clients.  If you have a keen interest in tax processes and technology you will have the opportunity to use these skills on a daily basis as well as continuing to develop your tax accounting and direct tax knowledge.


Your skills

  • Accounting qualification
  • We’re looking for individuals who are process focused with a technical background.  Key skills which will enable you to be successful in this role include:
  • Problem solving capabilities
  • Process focused with experience of implementing process or technology changes
  • US GAAP and / or IFRS tax accounting technical skillset
  • Corporate income tax experience (any country)
  • Track record of managing teams
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with multi-country teams
  • Self-aware and accountable – the ability to manage your portfolio and bring in other EY specialists when required
  • Organized with an ability to deliver tax accounting in a short timeframe
  • Experience coaching and developing junior staff
  • Ability to manage budgets and time to deliver a quality output
