Group Financial Controller

Our client is a local and growing commercial business with offices in NI, Scotland and GB.  They have a Turnover of 10m+ and employ 70+.  They are an inquisitive and growing entrepreneurial group and have a requirement for a commercial minded finance professional to join the business.  Reporting to the CEO the main responsibilities will include :-


  • Leading, managing &supporting a well-established finance of team of up to 10 people
  • Work as part of the senior management team and provide financial and commercial support to the Group CEO
  • Strive for continual improvement of the finance function including improvement of robust controls and processes
  • Working Capital management with responsibility for management banking relationships
  • Preparation of group budgets and forecasts
  • Preparation of and review of the monthly management accounts with full commentary to the board
  • Preparation of complex management reports with presentation and recommendations
  • Working with external customers in order to resolve high level queries
  • Responsibility for all regulatory compliance across the group including HMRC, Audit and Tax etc
  • Ensure robust controls so group risk is minimized,
