McKinty Associates are working with a professional Financial Planning firm who have a requirement for a Financial Advisor to join their growing team to manage and develop an existing client bank.


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to become a vital part of the financial planning process working alongside several highly successful advisers and HNW clientele. You will be expected to competently advise across the full spectrum of Financial Planning, including Investments, Protection, IHT, Tax and Retirement Planning.


Main duties will include:

  • Conducting in-depth financial reviews.
  • Undertake client meetings, providing high quality advice to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Managing the preparation of Client Financial Plans and Suitability Reports making use of cash-flow modelling.
  • Research and analysis of financial products and services to meet clients’ needs.
  • Analyse and interpret financial information and creating reports.
  • Developing and maintaining internal and external relationships.
  • Ensuring all FCA related and other regulatory compliance standards are met.
  • Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation.
  • Maintaining your continuous development as per regulatory requirements.
  • Relevant ad hoc duties as required.


Essential eligibility criteria:

  • At least Level 4 Diploma qualified.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in the financial advisory or wealth management sector.
  • Strong track record of providing quality advice.
  • Understanding of the full financial planning process.
  • Experience of delivering advice across Investments, Wealth Management, Estate Planning and Retirement Planning.
  • Excellent compliance track record evidenced by client feedback.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team to achieve wider business goals.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Highly computer literate – including strong Microsoft Excel & Word skills.
  • Detailed and accurate.
  • Ability to achieve agreed client outcomes.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and workload.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team to achieve wider business goals.
