Salary c. £24K – £26K DOE

On behalf of our client, McKinty Associates are seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts Technician / Bookkeeper. Joining an established team this role would be best suited to an enthusiastic person with some good relevant experience in a similar position, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience supporting the Finance Director with the day-to-day accounts function of this rapidly growing business.

Main duties will include:

• Posting daily Bank receipts & payments.
• Generate DD list for bank & distribute remittances to Customers.
• Input of Used vehicle invoices, transfer of V5s and terminations.
• Checking and posting funder reports.
• Generation of End of Term invoices.
• Manage the use of Company Credit card.
• Maintain key customer ledgers.
• Ensure daily invoicing processes has been completed.
• Complete Month end process (to include rental journals and invoices).
• Assist with Generation of Monthly Board Pack.

Essential experience:

• Qualified / Part Qualified Accounts Technician with at least two year’s finance experience working in a relevant finance environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Mathematical skills and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to develop.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to use own initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
