Accounts Assistant / Sales Ledger Clerk

Holywood (BT18)

Salary c.£22K – £26K DOE

On behalf of our client, McKinty Associates are seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant/Sales Ledger Clerk.

 

Role Overview:

  • Working within a busy finance team, to ensure all income is invoiced and monies due are received.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Raising weekly invoices accurately
  • Allocating monies/payments received across company Sales Ledger
  • Reconciling Sales Ledger to Nominal ledger
  • Chasing of overdue debt and updating the system
  • Produce month end reports
  • File invoices and statements
  • Petty cash management
  • Data entry
  • Ad hoc finance administration duties as and when required

Eligibility criteria:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance department
  • Experience within an Accounts Receivable & Credit Control role is essential
  • Practical knowledge of computerised accounts packages
  • Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good analytical and numeracy skills
  • Strong planning and organising skills
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Team player
