Accounts Assistant / Sales Ledger Clerk

Belfast (BT1)

£15,500 – £17,500 DOE

 

On behalf of our client, McKinty Associates are delighted to invite an experienced Accounts Assistant/Sales Ledger Clerk to work for a leading charity.

 

Role Overview:

  • Working within a busy finance team, to ensure all income is invoiced and monies due are received.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Raising invoices accurately
  • Allocating income across company Sales Ledger
  • Reconciling sales ledger to nominal ledger
  • Assisting in the preparation of income journals as required
  • Analysis of debtor’s accounts
  • File invoices and statements
  • Deal with sales enquiries
  • Other adhoc Sales Ledger duties

 

Eligibility criteria:

  • A minimum of 4 GSCE’s including English and Maths
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance department
  • Strong planning and organising skills
  • Good numeracy and time management skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Team player

 

The ideal individual will be currently working in a busy finance department.  This is a fantastic opportunity where the right candidate will be able to add value to the existing team.
